If you’re a regular follower of my blog, then you know I haven’t been here much for the past couple of months. Without getting into too much detail, I lost my Dad two months ago and have been helping my Mom a lot. We have six adult children and some of them are affected by the down turns in the recent economy over the past year or so and we are expecting a new grand child in September. I’m healing from a broken foot and wrenched back – finally doing much better and getting back to writing and blogging.
I hope you all are having a great summer. Let me know how you’re spending your time.
Talk with you soon!

I wish you good luck! To you and your family!!!
Don’t let any bad thoughts get to you or your siblings, please be positive and don’t do anything rash.
I’m sorry about your dad, and take care of your mother.
I’ve seen how the loss of a parent or sibling is able to kill you inside, but please be patient with your family and yourself.
Take care!

It sounds like you’ve been issued a number of challenges lately. I know how it is to lose your parent(s). I’ve lost both of mine. Believe it or not, time does heal, as does God.
Sorry about your aches and pains, our backs must be related — maybe our kids are too 🙂
I’m thrilled to find an author in the general vicinity. I’m in Lamesa and have finally decided it’s time to commit these stories flitting around my brain onto paper. I only wish we had a writers group here 😦 That’s the draw of being in a teeny town LOL.
Take care and God bless!

Hey Sara,
If you’re ever in Amarillo we should get together. I’m a member of the Panhandle Professional Writers group that is based out of Amarillo, but we have members from all over the region and surrounding states. I’m sure you’d be welcome.

Oh great! I have relatives that live in Amarillo. If you want, you can contact me via my email saranowlinedens at gmail dot com. I’d love to come schmooze a little if I can work my schedule to fit that. 🙂
